New Tecumseth’s annual Toys for Tickets returns for its 10th season

NEW TECUMSETH, ONTARIO – The Town of New Tecumseth is once again offering its annual Toys for Tickets program.

From Monday, November 27 to Friday, December 1, 2017 only, the Town of New Tecumseth is accepting toys or gift certificates as payment for your parking ticket. Purchase a toy and bring it in its original packaging along with the receipt to the Administration Centre that is of equal or greater value of the parking ticket.

Parking tickets issued from November 16, 2017 up to and including those issued on
November 30, 2017 (Note: Accessible parking space violations are not applicable) are eligible to be redeemed during the week-long campaign at The Town of New Tecumseth Administration Centre, 10 Wellington St. E., Alliston between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

During the past 9 seasons that the Toys for Tickets program has been offered in New Tecumseth, 151 tickets have been paid with toys through the program, with 17 gift certificates and 268 toys collected and valued at more than $5,000.

Toys collected throughout this year’s Toys for Tickets campaign will once again be distributed to youth in our community through the local Lions Clubs Christmas Hamper program as well as My Sister’s Place.
