FIRE SAFETY HOUSE

The New Tecumseth Fire Department’s Fire Safety House is a mobile unit that is used to educate the public about fire safety. The Fire Safety House can go directly to schools making it easier for educators to take advantage of this service. The mobile aspect allows the fire department to use it in educating residents with on site displays and demonstrations to further raise public awareness of the health and safety risks from fire and smoke. With state of the art technology, the Fire Safety House also enables the unit to be used as a mobile command centre in case of any emergency situation.

Thanks to the generosity of the Nottawasaga Foundation and in partnership with the Township of Adjala/Tosorontio and Essa Township, the New Tecumseth Fire Department’s Fire Safety House continues to be a valuable educational tool.
